Downtown Perrysburg, Inc. hosts various events throughout the year that are aimed to appeal to all ages and interests. As the events approach you will find posts describing what the event entails in detail. Brief descriptions of the events DPI puts on yearly are as follows:
- First Fridays: Downtown Perrysburg is transformed into a festival atmosphere the first Friday of each month in the summer and early fall as local and regional vendors promote arts and entertainment.
- Rock the Docks: Rock the Docks is held twice during the summer from 7 p.m. - Midnight along the Maumee River, just off Louisiana Avenue in the riverfront behind the Commodore Perry statue. One of the Rock the Docks events is the Harrison Rally Day After Party that follows an all-day celebration of Perrysburg's historic past and features live music and refreshments.
- The Classic Car Show: Each summer Louisiana Avenue is closed to through traffic, and area car enthusiasts flock the downtown area to get a close view of the nearly 300 classic antique and specialty cars proudly displayed by their owners.
- Outdoor Movie Nights: How about a family movie night ... outside, just like in the days of the drive-in theaters! Movies are projected in a quaint area, just off Louisiana Avenue on Second Street.
- Home for the Holidays Parade: Held every Thanksgiving weekend, this fun parade features floats, bands, and, of course, Santa!
- WinterFest: Downtown Perrysburg sparkles in February with a two-day WinterFest featuring World Champion ice carvers who create dozens of ice sculptures that line Louisiana Avenue.
